Therm-a-Rest Z Lite Sol Mattress
I just finished a 8-mile hike that had 1,000' of elevation gain per mile on the way up. Therm-A-Rest's Z Lite series is a line of ultralight closed-cell mattresses. The Sol has an accordion shape for compaction and carry, and a bubble-wrappy surface of dimples that Therm-A-Rest says help retain heat. A ThermaCapture coating that captures and reflects radiant heat back to your body complements and enhances the dimples' storage capacity by another 20%. R-vale is 2.6.
The Z Lite Sol is made of virtually indestructible foam that is softer on top for comfort, and denser on the bottom for durability. It is suitable for use on dirt, snow, and Castle Brown bamboo floors.
