Acteon Antibacterial Microfiber Beach Towels
Acteon Beach Towels are snazzy microfiber issues that absorb 3 times their weight in wet swimmers, splashers, and summer pool float overboarders. And if you happen to pick up some sea scum or pool funk on your way out, these towels are also coated in a silver ion antibacterial treatment.
Each Acteon Beach Towel comes rolled down to a muy packable, portable 3" x 3" x 7" cylinder; unfurled they measure 30" x 64", the latter of which is a shortcoming in my opinion unless you're 5'4" or under. I'm not even that tall (fine, old online dating profile, I admitted it!) but still have to buy special XL towels that extend the full length of my body so I don't have to decide between letting the bottom 8" of my legs chill out in 3,000-degree sand, or wrestling with smoothing out and holding down 2 beach towels instead of just one.
According to Acteon, their beach towels redeem themselves for shortness by drying 3 times quick than cotton towels, while maintaining the same softness and durability. They're also super lightweight at only 3.3 ounces.
