Custom Live-Edge Olive Wood Chandelier
Paul Miller is the new light in my life. No, wait. Let me rephrase: Paul Miller makes the new light in my life. His custom-built live-edge olive wood chandeliers are some of the coolest lighting installations I've seen...well. Since the light that is my wife, She-Ra: Princess of Power, installed herself in my life 7 years ago.
Six years ago? Eight years ago? I'm still so blinded by the experience I can't even remember.
Miller crafts his live-edge olive wood chandeliers to various customer specifications, and the space where it will hang. His workshop, 7M Woodworking, is in Chicago, but his favorite source of the olive wood he uses to create the chandeliers is California olive orchards with trees that are no longer producing, and have to be replaced with new ones.
All chandeliers are obviously OOAK, with their own "funky shape and grain pattern." Miller works with clients to select the appropriate number and configuration of the chandeliers' LED Edison light attachments, and determine how best to mount them.
