French company Giroptic is now selling what it calls World's! First! true 360 HD camera. The easily transported, easily maneuverable, and easily dangle-able 360cam shoots real-time streaming video over WiFi, recorded video, and still photos from any angle, or every angle at once. 360cam superpowers by the bullets include:
- 8Mpx photos at 3fps
- Surround sound with 3 built-in mics
- GPS geotagging
- Gyroscope image stabilization
- Universal mounting
- Waterproof
Additionally, the 360cam's lightbulb mounting attachment allows the palm-sized wonder to double as a home surveillance system. Attach the camera to the adapter, screw the apparatus in a standard bulb socket, and enjoy spying on the cat and the cleaning lady with cloud streaming and monitoring.
