Who wants a 1965 Porsche 911 for Christmas? Caveat: you have to assemble it yourself. Over the course of 24 days. And it might not be big enough to sit in and drive when you're done. Still! Nothing can rev up the countdown to Christmas like an advent calendar with the pieces to a Porsche 911 model car. It even comes with a sound module so you can make the engine gun and purr as the kids tell you to Pipe down, Dad! They're listening for hoofbeats on the roof.

The Porsche 911 Advent Calendar Kit has to be one of the best advent calendars I've seen so far. In addition to the pieces for building the 1:43 scale Bali Blue car - which screws together glue free - you'll also get an illustrated Porsche book created by Porsche expert Jurgen Lewandowski. The advent calendar's 24 boxes are also 4-color printed in Porsche motifs, and after you've removed them, they reverse and slide back into the cardboard carton to form a new Porsche image.

The Porsche 911 Advent Calendar is licensed by the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.
