Built-In Speaker LED Light Bulbs

It appears the progeny of Thomas Edison and Guglielmo Marconi fell in love--or at least had a one-night stand--somewhere along the genetic line. GiiNii combines the best of being able to see with the best of being able to hear in its AudioBulb, an LED light bulb with built-in speaker. The bulb is compatible with any light socket or lamp, and the speaker with most audio devices, including iPods, iPhones, home stereos, and TVs. No technical setup, wires, or custom installation are required. Simply screw in the light bulb (insert blonde/Polish/Palin/Bachman/Herman Cain joke here), connect via Apple 30-pin or Aux-In to the standalone base station, and crank up the Buble.

Add AudioBulbs to as many sockets/rooms in your house as you like without the added clutter and space consumption of traditional speakers and their snaky cords. The system also allows for a two-zone setting, so that music playing in some rooms won't necessarily blast through all of those equipped with the bulbs. The light portion of the bulb works with or without music playing, and, as an LED model, lasts for years before burnout. Which means it also gets a toothy grin from Obama and his Incandescent Illumination Patrol.

Bulb measures 3.35 x 3.35 x 5.49, and station (which does take up space and, admittedly, looks like a circa 1993 answering machine) measures 6.16 x 5.63 x 1.45.
