Cartoon Bags

By: on August 29, 2012

Nope, they're not drawings, they're not Photoshopped, and they don't exist only in the realms of Cool World and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Cartoon Bags, by JumpFromPaper's dynamically creative, Taipei-based designers Chay Su and Rika Lin, are actual, touchable, usable carriers in a host of funky facades and bright colors. Available in messenger bag, handbag, travel carry-on, and iPad/tablet case varieties, the near optical illusions even make the leap from 2D to 3D without the assistance of special glasses. Wearable animation! I think that's even better than a wearable penis! Or swallowable perfume! Or breathable caffeine!

Most JumpFromPaper bags ring in at around $99, though they range from $79 to $109, depending on size. All are made of canvas and polyester fabrics, and have a recommended maximum load of 6-1/2 pounds.
