Picnics are F'ing lame. At least that's what my friend Cornelius keeps reminding me I used to say before I began dating She-Ra: Princess of Power and became a "dopey-eyed golden retriever who likes pink wine and picnics." Uh, for the record, golden retrievers are awesome, and I only drank the pink wine once.
And so what if I changed my mind about picnics? Don't you people realize what comes with picnics? Sandwiches! I go on picnics, and in return She-Ra: Princess of Power plies me with delicious homemade sandwiches stuffed with many different parts and preparations of the pig. I think that's more than a fair trade. Cornelius.
So now that I'm an expert at going on picnics, I am also becoming an expert on picnic gear. This nifty rolling cooler from Picnic at Ascot has enough space and place settings for 4 people to chill out and mow down grass-side. Its divided cooler compartment has separate sections for wine (pink or otherwise) and food, plus a drink access panel in the lid. It is also leak-proof if you want to add ice.
Tablewares include a combination corkscrew, cheese knife, acrylic wine glasses, melamine plates and napkins, and stainless steel flatware. The picnic set comes in 8 different colors, all sized 14.5" x 13.5" x 17.2".
