If I ever happen to move out of my mama's house, I doubt it will be into anything larger than a 400-square-foot studio apartment, so this transforming coffee-to-dining table from Duffy London would be the perfect addition to my castle Murphy bed, both in terms of using my space efficiently and exemplifying my awesome taste in stuff. That the combined cost of the 2 pieces of furniture is about $5,000 may present a slight obstacle in their acquisition, but again, since I don't really foresee a departure from the lap of parental residential luxury in my future, these are all just hypotheticals anyway.
The MK1 Mini Transforming Coffee Table uses 2 simple movements to convert from living to dining room utilitarian decor. Check out the action video on Duffy London's Website if you would like to see that happen--we don't deal in QuickTime here. Tables come in a choice of walnut, ash, light oak, and black finishes, and are woodworked from solid walnut, ash, oak, or high-grade birch plywood. Coffee table dimensions are 13.8" high x 29.5" wide x 29.5" deep. Dining table expanded dimensions are 25.9" high x 53" wide x 29.5" deep.
