Airplane Trunk Work Station

By: on February 08, 2013

And I don't mean the kind of airplane trunk Auntie Heloise carries when she travels. The Blackhawk Secretary Trunk, an all-inclusive, roller work station, is quilted in polished aluminum panels held together with exposed steel screws reminiscent of the nose cones and fuselages of mid-20th-century motorized birdies. Inset drawers lined with black cotton canvas accommodate file and supply storage, while a desktop and 3 bookshelves hold a computer and, uh, books. Though the trunk weighs 525 pounds, a set of 8 wheels assist with rearranging, storing, space-reducing, and rolling your work to the library when your loser roommates keep interrupting study time with their homemade gin and Mario Piranha plant pipe escapades.

The airplane trunk work station measures 41" wide x 30" deep x 77" high. It does not meet airline requirements for carry-on luggage.
