UAG's covers are made of composite materials whose armor shells and impact-resistant soft cores are designed to keep their charges safe from everyday bumps and tumbles. Around front they also add an HS screen protector, plus scratch-resistant skid pads and screen surrounds to guard the case itself against damage. Overall, Urban Armor Gear cases meet military drop test standards per MIL STD 810G 516.6.
Despite their burly look, Urban Armor Gear says cases' composition construction keeps them feather-light, with over-sized tactile buttons for ease of use, and full access to phone / tablet touchscreens and ports.
Urban Armor Gear cases are available for Galaxy S5 & S6 phones, iPhone 5/5S and 6/6S, iPad Air and Mini, and the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet.
