Check It Out

Despite its quad-rotor helicopter design, 400' range, 1+ ounce weight, smooth flight algorithms, and accompanying aerial camera, the Micro Drone 2.0 is normally pretty reasonably priced at $139. Now makers Extreme Fliers are cutting that price further--by nearly 50%--and offering the time passing, sightseeing, overhead spying RC quadcopter to Dude readers for just $74.99. Get yours from the Dude Exclusives store for a limited time.

Remote-controlled and USB rechargeable, the Micro Drone 2.0 is a flight of fancy able to zip, swoop, and maneuver through the back yard on Saturday morning or back alley during lunch break. Usage is literally as easy as throwing it into the air like a frisbee, and letting the quadcopter's self-righting algorithm and sensors immediately stabilize it back to a horizontal flying position. Additional pre-programmed algorithms enable 360-degree flipping, with the built-in aerial camera capturing video of the journey, and your reaction to it, along the way.

The Micro Drone 2.0 can be flown indoors as well as out.
